Last night was the BET Awards and they played ciphers of some big names in the industry. Check them out if you missed them and also see who WSTS thought had the illest bars…after the jump.

These guys just proved that veterans do it with class and give 100%. Everyone’s verse was not very impressive. Keeping in mind that they were censored and probably weren’t allowed to use their normal vocabulary, the verses from people like Buckshot, Nipsy Hussle and KRS-One were rather tame. Is BET stepping their game up in the hip hop world? Not really. But good effort on their part and a round of applause to the Mos, Em, Thought’s cipher!
