So this joint was one of my singles album The Grand Buffet. Watchout 101 was that ’94 Premo sound son. I love dat era when shit was real. Pastime produced this banger. I went threw like 90 beats to find this joint and Hall jumped on to liven it up. We shot the video wit my man Loki, edited by yours truly. Classic anthem.
Rhyson Hall:
The video shoot for Watchout was hilarious. I was kind of confused with the snow shovels at first…were we going to beat someone with them? Plow a driveway? I guess if there was a logo for Buffalo, it would be a fist in the air with a snow shovel in it. I bust my ass during one of the scenes. I don’t remember much about the song except that Pastime hadn’t come to the studio in a while then he dropped off this 50 track beat CD and everyone’s face scrunched up when the Watchout beat dropped. Good times.
