It’s been a summer of covers for Shakira. Her website officially released the singer’s new single Loca, an interpretation of El Cata’s song Loca con Su Tiguere, earlier today. While the English version featuring Dizzie Rascal has been buzzing around the web via Fader, this is the original Spanish version that will be found on Shak’s new album Sale El Sol, which drops on Oct 19th. Covering the song of a Dominican artist, Shakira went as far to record the song in the DR. How’s that for authentic.
