And I’m not saying this because they have Brett Favre.
It’s not because of the end result of the game yesterday against the Titans either.
It’s purely off the fact that they offensive and defensive line dominated the whole game. Its similar to how Matt Cassell is not getting embarrassed and how Peyton Manning was so good for so many years. Luckily for the Jets, the lines on both sides of the ball are starting to click at the right time. The way they’re playing, they can give anyone a run for their money.
The only other team that the Jets need to beat, in order to prove this status is the defending champions, the best team in the NFC, the NY Giants. And how awesome would a Super Bowl between two NY teams be? The Subway Series between the Yankees and Mets have more history but a Super Bowl between the Jets and Giants….one game, winner take all? The ratings would be off the charts!
