Top 5 Birthdays Ever

There was last years show with The Heist and then there was 6th grade’s Lazertron trip, where I got the top score but this was definitely better. Before I started rapping, Blackstar was the first album I really studied and memorized. Kofi put me on and I dubbed the CD (that’s how long ago it was) with the tissue in the openings on the top of the tape and listened to it on the 12 & train on the way to Tech. 10 years later, I finally get to see them live and it was worth the wait.

A couple hours and a few Incredible Hulks(s) later it was 7 am and I stumbled back to the apartment.  Getting off at the right stop when you’re drunk and tired is kind of like threading a needle; you’ll keep missing that shit.  After I woke up and shook it off, I hit up the Hip Hop Subway Series, a cipher that starts in Union Square and continues on the train.  20 or so emcees in a couple ciphers heating up the train (literally).

Finally I went home and then headed back out to EOW with Gr& Phee and spit a couple verses with my man DJ Vinyl Richie.

NO SLEEP TILL…Queens?  lmao…

Happy Birthday to me…
